Skills2Learn has formed and are leading the e-solar consortium

Skills2Learn has formed and are leading the e-solar consortium developing 21st century learning technologies, supporting the education and industry sectors in solar technology.

The aim of our consortium is not only to develop a suite of interactive / virtual reality modules, but by involving the Sector Skills Councils and their links with appropriate awarding bodies, we can mainstream this provision via the work being undertaken as part of the qualification credit framework reform strategy.

This will enable access to this provision by all LSC approved suppliers (subject to full endorsement by the Sector Skills Councils and appropriate Awarding Bodies) thereby enabling employers in this marketplace to access these emerging technologies as well as supporting the Government drive for greener environmental technologies. In addition, depending upon the matched level on the qualification credit framework there would be a strong possibility that this could enhance Train to Gain broker targets across England.
