Skills2Learn won another prestige award
30th April 2009

Skills2Learn won the H&V News Award – known as the industry’s Oscars – which is indisputably the highlight of the year for the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) industry. The awards are a celebration of the industry’s best with over 1,000 peers; providing the HVAC industry the opportunity to attain the highest recognition for their skills and innovations. The awards ceremony took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London on 30 April 2009.

“Training Initiative of the Year” award is given to Skills2Learn in recognition for their excellent work by forming and leading the innovative e-solar consortium and for developing advanced virtual reality based e-learning programme to support student, tutors and the solar industry.

Judges said the scheme was "innovative and creative" and offered " a timely, high quality package that includes effective assessment of learning. It is the first of its kind to bring together colleges, sector skills councils, training providers and trade associations.”
