Gas and plumbing training supporting NVQ II certification

In partnership with the College of North West London and Hammersmith College, an e-learning programme was developed to support tutors and students in NVQ II in plumbing. This online application is designed for and is aligned to the core curriculum and syllabus at technical certificate and NVQ level 2 in plumbing and gas.

Based on multi-award winning virtual reality technology and using the latest in 3D animation, graphics, video clips and sound, the programme combines the presentation and explanation of technical and legislative information with knowledge review assessment style questions and situation exercises or scenarios to reinforce course material.

Metropolitan International Schools Limited

Metropolitan International Schools (MIS) provide technical certificates in plumbing. The course consists of study packs, practical work and interactive e-learning. Skills2Learn has developed interactive scenarios providing the students with the opportunity to put into practice, and test to ascertain a level of competency on some of the plumbing subjects they have learned in the classroom via fully interactive simulations.
