Skills2Learn supports a Research and Development project at The University of Bedfordshire

Skills2Learn and SkillsTrain are sponsoring and supervising a PhD student at The University of Bedfordshire to develop the latest virtual reality, serious-game based techniques.

Skills2Learn continues its commitment to the learning industry by carrying out a three year research and development project to develop advanced virtual reality, serious-game based techniques. The joint R&D project is with the University of Bedfordshire and will lead to a PhD qualification for the researcher.

Dr Majid Al-Kader, Skills2Learn Managing Director is supervising the project, and the Skills2Learn technical team is working very closely with the University in the research process.

This is not the first time that the company has supported local colleges and universities, in July 2007, Skills2Learn Director Mr Jan Telensky donated over £60,000 to the University’s Department of Computing and Information Systems, for hi-tech computing equipment.

By working with students and universities, Skills2learn are creating the building blocks for new and exciting developments in virtual reality training.
